Arizona’s glen canyon dam kept water for many years decided to release the water out to Colorado River. In 2012 the U.S. department of the interior released a flood of 44,700 cubic feet per second for three and a half day. U.S. department released the water to let the sediment to the river for better environment for the living things inside the water.
