There are many predators that live in the water, but one of the most dangerous is the legendary great white shark. Why are they so scary? Well, the great white shark is the world biggest fresh eating fish. It weight about 5,000 lbs or 2,268 kg and their size are about 15 ft (4.6m) to more than 20 ft (6m).
The great whites are the largest predatory fish on earth. Actually most of these sharks are not fetal. Why? Because they are “simple biting” they released their victims rather than preying on humans. But it doesn’t mean that human are not on the list of their menu. They have gray on the upper part of their bodies and white on their bottom or underbellies.
Their tails are very powerful that can propel them through the water at speeds up to 15 miles or 24 kilometers per hour. They can leave the water completely; also go against the water like whales when attacking prey from underneath. Their mouth have lined with up to 300 serrated triangular teeth in the rows of it mouth.
Precisely the great white sharks have expertly sense of smell to detect prey. They also have an organ that can sense the tiny electromagnetic fields that generated by animal’s movement. The great white’s menu unlikely human but sea lions, seals, small toothed whales, even sea turtles, and carrion.
However, the scientist agreed that the number of that the number of the great white shark are decreasing because people hunt them or accidental catching in gill nets. The great white sharks are one of the most interesting animals or the type of animal that we should save them.
